Tag: Boeing Starliner

The Boeing Starliner is a spacecraft designed and manufactured by Boeing as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Its primary purpose is to transport astronauts to and from the International Space Station (ISS). The Starliner is designed to be a reusable vehicle that can carry up to seven crew members or a mix of crew and cargo. It features a launch abort system for crew safety during ascent, and can dock autonomously with the ISS while also having the capability for manual control if necessary. The spacecraft is launched atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket and aims to provide a reliable and cost-effective means of human spaceflight, reducing the reliance on other countries for access to the ISS.
