Tag: Starliner Mission

The Starliner Mission refers to a series of space missions employing NASA’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, developed by Boeing. The primary objective of the Starliner Mission is to transport astronauts to and from the International Space Station (ISS) as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. The design of the Starliner spacecraft allows for crewed flights, and it is intended to enhance regular access to the ISS. The mission includes both uncrewed and crewed test flights to ensure safety and reliability before operational flights commence. The first uncrewed test flight, known as Orbital Flight Test (OFT), aimed to validate the spacecraft’s systems in orbit. Subsequent missions aim to facilitate scientific research and international collaboration in low Earth orbit.
