The poster is supposed to be printed on reflective foil to create the mirror-effect.
About this project
The movie “Being John Malkovich” is basically about not accepting who you are, and the desire to become someone else. More than once during the movie, a mirror is smashed, which inspired me to use the metaphor of a broken mirror to do a different poster for the movie.
Nowadays, movie posters are really boring. They usually just show the stars of the movie with some big explosion in the background. Why not do more interesting / challenging movie posters?
