These are the first three illustrations in my “Metazoa” series. The photo references for these illustrations were taken at Naturama — a zoological exploration center located in Svendborg in the southern part of the Danish island Fyn. When taking the photos, I experimented a lot with long exposure, enabling me to blend various scenes together, or get an interesting blur on a single scene. I took around 100 photos that day. Naturama is definitely worth a visit, if you’re looking for a nice location to take photos.
