Wiggle!

I’m totally loving The Wiggler in Adobe After Effects CS3 – especially the expression that you can add to key frames. I found that you can’t apply The Wiggler to the transparency of a layer. To do so, you must use it as an expression instead. Sp just make a key frame for transparency and type in this expression:

wiggle(30,5)

30 is the number of times per second that it will wiggle. 5 is the intensity (the number by which the base transparency varies). In this case (given the fact that the base transparency is set to 100%) it would then wiggle 30 times per second within the spectrum of 95-100.

I hope it makes sense :) It’s really a useful expression to get some shaky comps in After Effects.
