My New Year’s resolution for 2009 was to write more personal posts, and not talk about work and various projects of mine. I must say that I could’ve done a better job. Looking back, I can’t seem to spot a whole lot of “diary-like” posts, and that sort of bothers me. My blog started out as a diary, but has turned into a place where I pretty much only talk about projects and work. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I’m just saying that I miss the good old days.

Anyway, this post was meant as an update to you guys. Friday the 18th I’m flying to Malgrat de Mar (Catalonia/Spain) and I’ll be back again on Friday the 25th, so that’s like 8 days in total. I’ve never experienced a Christmas with my family down there, so I decided that this would be the time (also because of some personal circumstances, but I’ll spare you guys the details).

I’m really looking forward to the change of air… Tomorrow I’ll start planning the trip to Copenhagen (Kastrup Airport) and also which train to take from Barcelona to Malgrat. It’s been so long since I last took that train, so I totally forgot where to switch and all that. From the airport I think I have to take Line 2 and switch at Sants to Line 1, which ends at Maçanet – Massanes. Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s it. If not, I’ll just have myself a little adventure time in unknown territory. I bought the ticket spontaneously online, so ending up in a strange place would definitely be in the spirit of the trip I guess.

I’m considering changing my blog theme so that it’ll get a dark background. Having browsed through numerous design blogs and portfolios on the Internet (perhaps one more frequently than others), I’ve come to the conslusion, that images and graphics are simply best viewed on a dark background. It’s just a lot easier on the eyes, and the colors also stand out a lot more. On top of that, I’ve heard that having a darker website is less power consuming, thereby emitting less CO2. So if you see some weird colors on my blog in the future, it’s probably because I’m tweaking the theme. Firebug here I come!

Hej folkens! Grafikkortet på min Mac besluttede sig lige for at gå i stykker, så hvis jeg ikke lige er så aktiv her på bloggen, er det derfor. Jeg skulle meget gerne have den tilbage i slutningen af næste uge. Der er forhåbentlig tale om den kendte fejl der rammer Nvidia GeForce 8600 grafikkort. Er det den, vil jeg kunne få repareret den ganske gratis.

Jeg skriver ikke så meget på min blog lige for tiden, hvilket bl.a. skyldes travlhed i virksomheden. Vi har nok at se til i forbindelse med vores nuværende projekt, og så tumler jeg også med nogle store personlige beslutninger som skal træffes – beslutninger, som i dén grad kan forme min fremtid. Så… man kan roligt sige at der sker ting og sager.

YES! Jeg er steget i “Google-rank” eller hvad man nu skal kalde det. Sidst jeg søgte på “Jokke” på Google, da lå www.jokke.com foran mig, men nu har jeg lige foretaget en overhaling. Gad vide hvad det kan skyldes? Oh well, jeg skal da ikke klage :) Jeg er bare glad for at jeg er mere populær end finsk webshop der sælger hundeudstyr!
