Yesterday I sold a lincense to The Freaky Face — a dingbats font that I made a while back. It feels nice to be able to sell personal projects like that. I’m curious by nature, so I always want to know the context in which people want to use my work. In this case it seemed to be a small scale project, so I’m hoping to get an e-mail from my buyer when his project is done, so I can see how it looks and maybe post some screens here.

Not too long ago, Jens Raunkjær Christensen and Jonas Drotner Mouritsen finished the short movie Connected. In connection with that (pun intended) they asked my friend Anders Baden Nielsen and myself, if we would design a poster for the movie. Since they’re good friends of ours and because the project seemed quite interesting, we said yes. Full Story
A couple of weeks ago I ordered this poster from studio.iso50.com. It will become the inaugural poster for the new flat I’m moving into with my girlfriend. I’ll take good care of it and frame it as soon as possible — I’m thinking that a black / dark brown frame would suit the poster quite well. I hope it’s not too expensive to frame a poster of that size. Gonna head down to Avanti and ask for their prices on monday.
På lidt over en måned, har næsten 10.000 har downloaded min dingbats font “The Freaky Face” fra DaFont. Det er superfedt at folk henter og (forhåbentlig) bruger den. Jeg ville ønske jeg kunne se hvad den bliver brugt til af de forskellige mennesker. Hmm… Jeg har virkelig fået motivation for at lave flere skrifter, nu hvor så mange har hentet den. Måske skulle jeg tage og lave en læsbar skrift næste gang :p
