My year 2008 in headlines!

January

Had my first roll of film xpro’d (cross processed). They came out a bit underexposed, but still kind of interesting.

Design:Startup course with Anders while working on our graduation project. Tough but worth the effort.

Anders sells my PowerBook G4.

I met my huge idol Scott Hansen at his workshop in Stockholm!

February

Scott Hansen mentions me on his own blog!

Working on developing a company with Anders – we got a free office at House Of Innovation.

March

Working on the theoretical part of my graduation project, and I’m not motivated to write at all.

Finished my documentary from the trip to Stockholm with Anders.

I lost my precious ring at a party in Århus! The ring that my father gave to me… I’m absolutely heartbroken about it.

April

Putting up posters all over Århus with my girlfriend to try and find my lost ring. Reward: 1000 DKK.

Discovered KRINK markers, the awesome site formlös and the wonders of calligraphy :)

Thinking about selling my point-and-shoot to get a D-SLR.

I touched Madonna! (well, a tiny piece of a dress that she once wore – but still!)

FINALLY we found a name for our company: barq!!

Final exam and GRADUATION from Designskolen Kolding :D

First arrow experiments with SymmetryWorks.

Was at the SPOT FESTIVAL in Århus with my girlfriend and some of her good friends.

My first attempt at roller skating in Kolding. Doesn’t beat Århus though…

Looking for a new place to live.

Discovered Firebug – a truly awesome add on for Firefox! – and an essential tool for developers.

I won two contests on 99designs.com :)

My girlfriend helped me find a new apartment.

10 unforgettable days in Spain with my girlfriend.

I’m moving to my new apartment – bye Fredensgade.

My girlfriend found the ring which I thought I had lost for good! Miracles DO happen!

Fullrate internet connection at my new place. Finally!

Bon Iver concert at Voxhall in Århus with my girlfriend. Best concert EVER! The song “Re: Stacks” blew me away emotionally.

Following the American election very closely. BARACK MUST WIN!

I was hired to make a present for the CEO of Danfoss, Jørgen Mads Clausen.

I made an intro video for the site ideadox.com in just one night.

Finished my entry for a danish competition: make a new logo for Modelflyvning Danmark.

My mother walks El Camino.

Working on a huge animation project for the movie Westbrick Murders.

Finished layouting the new theme for my blog – now I just need a coder!

“Hjælp Mig Pia” was removed from YouTube due to some sort of violation.

Apple released a new line of Macs – no more matte displays? WTF?!

I had my debut at “Den Blå Café” in Kolding. Carsten Borch invited me to the event “Torsdags Tapas” which is held there every Thursday.

Had a haircut.

5 year anniversary at my old high school.

Barack Obama is the new president of the United States! :D

I made my first typeface and dedicated it to my girlfriend Lyuba, which is also the name of the typeface :)

Because it was removed from YouTube, “Hjælp Mig Pia” is now on my own site (forever!).

Carsten Borch hires me to do a series of typographical layouts for a t-shirt campaign.

Made my second typeface “Stackable“.

Spleen United + VETO concerts in Århus. Freakin’ awesome!

I’m mentioned in the teachers book “Sæt skrivespor 1” (some excerpts from my old diary).

December

Westbrick animation is fully rendered :)

I turn 25!

Updated my blog to WordPress 2.7 “Coltrane” (the new and much improved release).

For the first time I uploaded some of my voices to get feedback.

Spent an entire day at the mall with my girlfriend, looking for Christmas presents for the family.

My girlfriend gave me my very own custom built speaker box (connects to my iPod). She is so talented :)

Christmas in Svendborg and a short trip to Fanø afterwards.

Had a haircut.

New Years party in Århus with Anders and Jonas. You guys are great fun. Let’s do it again soon :)
